This Acceptable Use Policy (“Policy”), together with our Terms of Use, sets the rules for using the DepthWorks Psychiatry website(s) and any related pages, forms, and interactive features (the “Site”), whether you are a visitor or a registered user (if applicable).
By using the Site, you agree to comply with this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. Prohibited Uses of the Site
You may use the Site only for lawful purposes. You must not use the Site to engage in (including, without limitation):
Fraud or deception
Any fraudulent activity, misrepresentation, or attempt to deceive others.
Illegal or unlawful activity
Any activity that violates any applicable local, state, federal, or international law or regulation.
Harm involving minors
Any activity that may cause or result in harm to a person under 18 years of age.
Spam or unsolicited marketing
Sending unsolicited advertising, promotional materials, mass messages, chain letters, or “spam,” or arranging for such material to be sent.
Unauthorized copying or commercial exploitation
Reproducing, distributing, selling, scraping, or otherwise using the Site or its content in a way that violates our Terms of Use or intellectual property rights.
Malicious or harmful code
Knowingly introducing, transmitting, or attempting to transmit viruses, trojans, worms, logic bombs, malware, or any code or program that is malicious or technologically harmful.
Unauthorized access / hacking
Attempting to gain unauthorized access to the Site, related software, servers, or any server, computer, or database connected to the Site.
Service disruption attacks
Attacking the Site via a denial-of-service (DoS) attack or a distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attack, or interfering with the Site’s operation in any way.
2. Contributing Content and Interacting With Others
If the Site allows you to upload, submit, post, or otherwise contribute content (“User Content”) or interact with others, you agree that:
Your User Content will be truthful to the best of your knowledge, reflect your honest opinion where stated as opinion, and comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
You will not use the Site to harass, intimidate, or target others.
User Content must not include (including, without limitation) material that:
Is harmful or offensive
Defamatory, obscene, abusive, hateful, or inflammatory.
Is sexually explicit
Sexually explicit content or content that exploits or endangers others.
Promotes violence, illegal activity, or discrimination
Content that advocates or assists criminal acts, violence, or discrimination.
Infringes rights
Material that infringes another person’s copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other legal rights.
Harasses or threatens
Content that threatens, harasses, upsets, embarrasses, alarms, or annoys another person, or is likely to do so.
Deceives or breaches duties
Content likely to mislead others, or shared in breach of a legal duty (such as confidentiality).
Invades privacy
Content that invades another’s privacy or creates unnecessary distress, inconvenience, or anxiety.
Impersonates or misrepresents affiliation
Impersonation of any person or entity, or misrepresentation of your identity or relationship/affiliation.
Misattributes content to DepthWorks
Content that gives the impression it originates from DepthWorks when it does not.
3. Moderation
If we offer interactive features (such as comments, community areas, or messaging), we may (but are not required to) moderate those spaces. Where moderation is used:
We may provide notice of whether moderation is human or automated (where practical).
We may provide a way to report content or contact support regarding concerns.
We are not responsible for User Content posted by others and, to the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim liability for losses or harm resulting from interactive features.
Minors should be supervised if they access any interactive features of the Site (even though the Site is intended for users 18+).
4. Breaches of This Policy
Any breach of this Policy may be treated as a breach of our Terms of Use. If you violate this Policy, we may take any action we reasonably deem appropriate, including:
removing or restricting access to User Content,
suspending or terminating your access to the Site,
restricting access by IP address, and/or
taking legal action where appropriate.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from a user’s breach of this Policy.
5. Amendments
We may update this Acceptable Use Policy at any time by posting a revised version on the Site. Changes are effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
